Beauty + Health + Fashion = A More Confident You

The connection between health and beauty is converging.  Not so long-ago beauty was a term reserved only for women.   Today, men too are free to explore health trends that can enhance their appearance.   Living a healthy lifestyle can improve our overall appearance.  A rosy complexion, healthy nails, glossy hair are all an indication of overall health.

Eating the right foods helps.  Limiting the foods that cause inflammation such as sugar, processed foods, refined carbohydrates and even dairy can help us look our best. Exercise, hydrating, choosing fresh fruits and vegetables will contribute to an overall feeling of wellness.  Reducing stress will go a long way to looking your best, too.  Try yoga, walking, meditation or even reading to help manage stress.  Getting a good night’s sleep, between 7 to 9 hours a night can decrease dark circle, puffiness and wrinkles.

Health and wellness combined with fashion allows us to telegraph to the world who we are.  Feeling good combined with our own self-defining fashion choices is confidence building.  Fashion is more than just clothing, it’s your hairstyle, shoe choices, and accessories.  Today it’s easy to add elements of personal taste to enhance one’s fashion wardrobe.
